So I figure I can post these grayscale so I'm not just giving the book away. But here is a progress page, this marks the half way point of the book. Milestone achieved!! Hope to have it done by the end of the month.
Finally getting around to posting this. Another poster study. Working on the Nomad children's book now, so my nights will be taken up by that til the end of March. I'll still have some figure drawings and paintings from any of the sessions I am able to make it to.
Finally getting around to truly practicing the stuff I have learned in the last few years. I have heard many times that guys today draw better than the old guys. As my buddy Corey pointed out. The old masters drew some ugly stuff. But the truth is they were scary good draftsmen, absolutely scary!! A piece of advice I have received from Ryan Wurmser was to do a master copy if a model is not available, as this is a better option than drawing from a photo. I understand this a lot more now. The third piece is a Rubens copy I am working on. It is not remotely in the ball park I was hoping to get it in, but I am learning a ton.
