Putting things to practice

Finally getting around to truly practicing the stuff I have learned in the last few years. I have heard many times that guys today draw better than the old guys. As my buddy Corey pointed out. The old masters drew some ugly stuff. But the truth is they were scary good draftsmen, absolutely scary!! A piece of advice I have received from Ryan Wurmser was to do a master copy if a model is not available, as this is a better option than drawing from a photo. I understand this a lot more now. The third piece is a Rubens copy I am working on. It is not remotely in the ball park I was hoping to get it in, but I am learning a ton.

Back to the drawing board,
